Important update about Saintfield Physiotherapy
From 17 August 2026, Saintfield Physiotherapy became part of Active Health Solutions Limited.
As part of this change, Active Health Solutions Limited has become responsible for the personal information and patient records previously held by Saintfield Physiotherapy.
This means that Active Health Solutions Limited is now the Data Controller for your information and is responsible for how it is used, stored and protected.
What this means for you
You do not need to do anything.
Your clinical records will continue to be held securely and confidentially and will be used where necessary for:
- your ongoing care;
- continuity of treatment;
- appointment and service administration;
- appropriate professional record keeping;
- meeting relevant legal and regulatory obligations.
Lisa will continue to work at Saintfield Physiotherapy and will continue treating patients, so from a care point of view, things should remain very familiar.
What information has transferred
The information transferred may include:
- your name and contact details;
- treatment and clinical notes;
- appointment history;
- referral or clinical correspondence;
- billing and administrative information connected with your care.
Why your information has transferred
The transfer is necessary to support the continued operation of Saintfield Physiotherapy and to maintain continuity of care under the new ownership.
For general personal information, Active Health Solutions Limited relies on appropriate lawful bases under UK data-protection law, including legitimate interests where relevant.
Because your records may contain health information, which is classed as special-category personal data, Active Health Solutions Limited also relies on the relevant condition allowing health information to be processed where necessary for the provision and management of healthcare services.
Your information will continue to be used only for appropriate and lawful purposes connected with your care, administration, clinical governance and related professional obligations.
The transfer of your clinical record does not mean that your details will automatically be used for unrelated marketing.
How your information will be protected
Active Health Solutions Limited uses appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information.
Your records will be kept only for as long as necessary in line with applicable legal, professional and record-retention requirements.
You can find more information about how Active Health Solutions Limited uses and protects personal information in our:

Your data-protection rights
You continue to have rights under UK data-protection law.
Depending on the circumstances, these may include the right to:
- request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate information;
- request restriction of certain processing;
- object to certain uses of your information;
- request deletion in certain circumstances.
Some rights are not absolute. For example, there may be circumstances where we need to retain clinical records even if you ask us to delete them.
If you would like to exercise any of your rights or have any questions about the transfer of your information, please contact:

A final reassurance
Although the ownership of Saintfield Physiotherapy has changed, our priority remains the same: to provide you with high-quality care and to keep your personal and clinical information safe.
Lisa will remain involved in the clinic and continue treating patients, and we look forward to continuing to care for you at Saintfield Physiotherapy.
